flexfax: No local identifier with USR Modem

Hi,

has anyone out there experienced the that a USR Sportster VI
is ignoring the local identifier setting when _sending_
faxes?

In the traces I can see that the AT+FLI="xyz" is issued
just before dialling and there is a OK by the modem
but there is no local identifier sent.
