flexfax: Send EOP

I have a problem with hylafax, a USR SPORTSTER fax/modem (very recent
model) and some models of *receiving* fax (not fax/modem): the command

         send EOF

fail, and the fax is requeued, but the fax arrived OK.
The remote signal a error but, i repeat, the trasmission is OK.

How i can solve this e/o ignore the signal and *not* re-send the fax?
