Hi, Juan.

These are classic reactions from the broken firmware in USR's recent Sportster
models. I don't think the various workrounds mentioned frequently in this list
will help you with the 56K -x2 model; however, someone on the list did mention
they did get Class 1 working with this modem.

Oh, and BTW, HylaFAX v4.0pl2 is available and sorts out quite a few problems.
