What operating system? The fonts go in one of the directories
specified in the Ghostscript installation as a fonts source: if you
type "gs -h", you should get a list of them along with all the active
drivers. Under SunOS, it's in /usr/local/share/ghostscript/fonts, for
example.

Also: I recommend the latest/greatest ghostscript, version 5.03,
available at ftp://ftp.cs.wisc.edu/pub/ghost/aladdin/current/. It
handles some printer drivers, etc. that are not in earlier
distributions.
