We're gone offtopic so I changed name of a subject,

Minicom output:
OK

RING - dialed from internal ext.
AT+CGI=381
ERROR
AT+CGI=<381>
ERROR

When dialed from external number minicom is always quiet.

What we have here is PBX which is authorative for +381112040xxx domain.
HylaFAX here is etx. 962 (+381112040962). Ring patterns for calls which
come from the outside world and from the internal ext. xxx are
different. When I dial 962 (hylafax) from 936 (my ext.) that is a one
long beep on ext. device (and minicom says RING), but when I call 962
from let's say +38163306578 that are the 2 short beeps for ext. device
(and minicom is quiet). That is the way PBX is set and it can't be
changed. But when I use any external serial modem it recognies and
minicom says RING for any type of call, from internal or external.

Fact is that with i536ep modem I can receive faxes sent only from
company. B)

536ep is good. some SmartLink internal PCI SW modems could only dial
out, they were quiet in minicom from either internal or external call.
