Each modem config file specifies its own ModemPriority.

Want to bias (weight) ports on a multi modem system (4 modems) so that, for Want outgoing FAX, two lines are preferred over the others.

See how to do this on the fly using "faxconfig -m ttyf2 ModemPriority nn".

Seems this could be done with "ModemPriority" in the config files, but not Seems seeing where, yet.

Or does it stay fixed with the above command, until changed again?

The modem config files are re-read with such frequency that almost any change made with faxconfig that you wish to be permanent will also need to be changed in the modem config files. Otherwise I suspect the setting will only apply until the next time the config file is read-in.
