Re: [hylafax-users] USR 56K Modem
Nevermind. Stupidity was in cause, for some reason I thought I had to
update the file in /etc/hylafax (debian package) but I ptu my
config.ttyS1 in /var/spool/..../etc
And Bam, modem locked.
Thanks everyone, sorry for wasting your time.

In your modem config file set ServerTracing to 0xFFF. Then restart
faxgetty. Then the syslog should give you some better idea as to
what's happening (or not).
If anyone has used hylafax with the same modem, what firmware version
did you have?
Can you send me your modem config file?
Every USR modem that I've ever been unfortunate enough to have met has
worked ... at least as far as initialization ... with the default
prototype config file.
