Hello Moritz,
the right place to post bug fixes for Debian packages is the Debian bug
tracking system. (use the "reportbug" tool) You can include your patch
there. The maintainer of the Debian package will probably forward this
to the upstream developers.
The new upstream version was announced on the list
linux-avmb1@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx You can reach upstream developers at
cvs-capi4hylafax@xxxxxxx I suggest you submit a Debian bug report and
send a copy or a URL to the upstream developers' address.
