You've come into a fax protocol error (no response to EOP repeated 3 times) with a Class 2 modem that is no longer supported by the manufacturer. I think that your options at this point are to find some "workaround" of sorts (try using 1-D MH, for example), to live with it, or to replace the modems. (Unless the modems support Class 1 and you can switch to it.)
