[hylafax-users] cannot send faxes but receive is ok

Hello!

1) I have hylafax version 4.2.1 on FreeBSD 5.4 box with Speedcom+ VD56SP 
modem.
I set up modem as class 1.0 modem
On receive everything works fine, but with sendfax i have problems:
- modem connected to old ATM (Panasonic Easa-Phone 308)- sending localy 
to a winxp based computer with another external modem is fine
- sending to remote number with winxp based computer with another 
winmodem is fine
- but sending to remote fax machines (Hewlet Packard) always fails:

in first case with:
a lot of "SEND send frame number xx" before and
No response to PPS repeated 3 times. in logs

in second case with:
a lot of "SEND send frame number xx" before and
Failure to transmit clean MMR image data. in logs

I tried to force faxsend use no 14400 bps, but 9600 with diferent 
protocol- the same result (with -B 9600 option)

Both clients has no apparent problems with line quality.

2) I had no problems running hylafax version 4.2.0 on another FreeBSD 
5.2.1 box with the same modem for about two weeks, but once everything 
ended up with "segmentation fault" in logs when sending to remote  
numbers (localy was fine + i had made no changes in hylafax 
configuration before problem occured). I completely reinstalled hylafax 
version 4.2.1 on that box and changed modem (the same model) to get rid 
of "segmentation fault" but had no success.

All the time fax receiving was ok.


Any help would be appreciated!
