Re: [hylafax-users] New Installation - CentOS - hylafax
You can't use mgetty with hylafax. Maybe you are
required to install mgetty to satisfy dependencies
like metamail. If I stand correct, CentOS 4.1 is RHEL4
compatible, right? If so, you can get the rpm binary
to rhel4 here
ftp://ftp.hylafax.org/binary/linux/redhat/RPMS/i386/ .
Hope this helps. Cheers.

Hello,
I just installed CentoOS 4.1. I'd like to install
hylafax but ran into a snag.
I download the binary distro for red hat 9. When I
went to install it, it told
me I needed to install mgetty - Sendfax first. I
thought hylafax was separate and standalone?
Can I use a red hat binary distro for my CentoOS? If
so, which one?
Thanks,
Charles
