Re: [hylafax-users] CUPS support -- is it there?

Check out ftp://ftp.hylafax.org/contrib/faxfrontend Download the 0.7
release. This is a QT GUI frontend for fax4cups so that when you print
to the fax printer via cups, you get a dialog window that asks you where
you want to fax, do you want a coversheet, etc. It works well for our
organization.
Thanks for the tip - I have it installed and working - some notes for anyone
doing this - in my case on Debian
./configure --with-qtdir=/usr/share/qt3
For the record in Debian
usr/share/qt3/bin/moc is provided by the qt3-dev-tools pkg
You also need libqt3-dev
(use checkinstall and create a deb pkg while you are at it)
Install on debian requires libqt3c102
Also requires one to edit /usr/lib/cups/backend/hylafax to use non local hylafax
server.
User must have no password set via faxaddusr (or edit of
hosts.hfaxd to contain ^.*@*local-network$::: )
