[hylafax-users] Sendfax doesn't work (for me)

Hi
OS:             	Mandriva 2005 LE
Fax program :	RPM from the 2005 LE package
Modem       :	 US Robotics - Courier - V.everything

This faxing by computer is new to me! Though I have had a 
computer in my home since Apple ][.  I have guessed my way 
through the setup of HylaFAX - could have wrong answers there.
I call up the "Send to fax - KDEprintfax"  utility; it says in
the lower right hand corner: idle  hylafax
I enter a file path name : "/data/sendfax/050529-01.ps" which is
a good file name.
I click on send - nothing - no lights dance on the modem -
nothing. Click send again - nothing.
in file:/var/log/syslog the following two enteries were
generated:
May 30 06:47:24 localhost FaxQueuer[5987]: SUBMIT JOB 2
May 30 06:58:28 localhost FaxQueuer[5987]: SUBMIT JOB 3

What file names  (/path/filename) could I look for to see if 
"setup data" was recorded? Error message logs?
How do I find out what I have set wrong?  Suspect setup is wrong.

Can/should I rerun setup?
