I install this package hylafax-4.2.1-1rh3.i386.rpm and went through the normal faxsetup,faxaddmodem,faxmodem steps.

Hylafax detected my Multitech modem and the service started ok. However:

# faxstat
HylaFAX scheduler on dauphin_fly.continentalpoly.com: Running
Modem ttyS0 (281.277.6580): Initializing server

I'm stumped. My modem is a MT2834ZDX. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated.
