[hylafax-users] Force using 2D-MR
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
Hello List,
still using hylafax 4.1.7 with multitech MT1432BG.
I need to force hylafax to use 2D-MR to a destination.
I already set Use2D in the config-file to Yes, but the transmission is still
in 1D-MR.
I started sendfax with: sendfax -2 -d 12345 FILE
but no success (hylfax still sends with 1D-MR.
The modem (Multitech) supports 2D-MR.
When I use a different server, the fax to that destination is sent with 2D-MR.
I deleted the info-file but still no success. hylafax sends the fax with 1D-MR
encoding.
here is the extract from the logs:

The interesting part is the one after SEND send EOP
If failing the lines are:

Apr 12 13:38:55.77: [25807]: --> [8:+FHNG:54]
successful lines look like:
So how can I tell hylafax to use 2D-MR
Apr 12 10:18:25.54: [17668]: SEND send EOP (no more pages or documents)
Apr 12 10:18:25.54: [17668]: <-- [9:AT+FET=2\r]

Apr 12 10:18:31.67: [17668]: --> [14:+FHT:FF 13 FB ]

Apr 12 10:18:32.15: [17668]: REMOTE HANGUP: Normal and proper end of
connection
the only difference is that one file is send with 2D-MR the other one with
1D-MR. I use the same hylafax-version with the same modem and the same
firmware on the modems just on different servers
Any suggestions ?
TIA
