That said, I strongly suspect that this is an error on the part of the
modem itself. Either it doesn't implement +FCERROR as it is supposed
to, or some other problem. I have a few 536EP modems myself, and I've
not yet been able to successfully use them. I haven't put much effort
into it, though.

Ok Lee, thnx for the clarification I'm going to send an e-mail to Intel
about this error, they might be able to fix it in a new driver
release.... who knows?
