Hey
All,
Have been using Hylafax for a few years, and have always just unplugged it when I did not want it to receive faxes. I have recently ordered a distinctive ring service to make the fax more available to clients. It is turned on and the AT-SDR=6 command has turned distinctive ring on my Rockwell modem. Testing with Minicom shows RING2 for my normal ring and RING3 for my distinctive ring. I have added: Ringfax: RING3 to my config.ttyS0 and "-SDR=6" to my ModemResetCmds: Restarted everything and now the neither ring causes faxgetty to answer. Have pasted in config.ttyS0 below, and I am using hylafax 4.2.1 Thanks for any help you can provide.# # Generic Class 1.0 modem configuration. # # EDIT THIS CONFIGURATION TO REFLECT YOUR SETUP # CountryCode: 61 AreaCode: 3 FAXNumber: +61.3.98089982 LongDistancePrefix: 0 InternationalPrefix: 0011 DialStringRules: etc/dialrules ServerTracing: 1 SessionTracing: 11 RecvFileMode: 0666 LogFileMode: 0600 DeviceMode: 0600 RingsBeforeAnswer: 1 Ringfax: RING3 SpeakerVolume: off GettyArgs: "-h %l dx_%s" LocalIdentifier: MikeIT TagLineFont: etc/lutRS18.pcf TagLineFormat: "From %%l|%c|Page %%P of %%T" MaxRecvPages: 25 # # # Modem-related stuff: should reflect modem command interface # and hardware connection/cabling (e.g. flow control). # # We use "ModemType: Class1" with "Class1Cmd: AT+FCLASS=1.0" for now # ModemType: Class1 # use this to supply a hint #ModemRate: 19200 # rate for DCE-DTE communication #ModemFlowControl: xonxoff # XON/XOFF flow control assumed # #ModemSetupDTRCmd: AT&D2 # setup so DTR drop resets modem #ModemSetupDCDCmd: AT&C1 # setup so DCD follows carrier #GettyArgs: "-h %l dx_%s" # modem must auto-detect fax/data # # We can append the "@" symbol to the dial string so that # the modem will wait 5 seconds before attempting to connect # and return result codes that distinguish between no carrier # and no answer.
