There's a lot of them. And, a lot of new fax machines also support this. Panasonic, HP, Canon, Ricoh, etc.


A lot of the fax machines will call it "internet fax" - meaning scan-to-email (rather than T.38).

Just look, you'll find them.

That said, it's a relatively easy endeavor to create a "network scanning device" by hooking up a Sane-driven scanner with an Apache+PHP-enabled server. With a little bit more work you can get it pumping those scans to sendfax. The user does it all from their own browser or from Mozilla running on X on that system itself. I did this for a client once, and there were scan-to-file, scan-to-email, and scan-to-fax functions. I think it took maybe a few hours to write. Most of the work was after that, trying to learn and implement the various Sane features with that scanner. In the end it was a very feature-filled document center for the hardware price of a PC and a scanner.
