See my recent post in response to Matthias Reich. It is merely speculation, but it is possible that the various receivers are not happy with the way that the Devolo modem is functioning. You could test this theory by trying a different modem to those same destinations.

I strongly suspect that you both are having the same kinds of problems, and since you're both using the same kind of modem it makes that particular modem suspect.
