root:	user@xxxxxxxxxxx
or 
root:	local.user

 Provided faxmaster is aliased to root, of course. If not, just set an
alias for faxmaster. As Bodo mentioned, however, it is wise to have a real
alias for root, regardless. Also, don't forget to run newaliases after
alterations to /etc/aliases.
