Hi,

I have redhat 8.0 server and hylafax-4.1.8
with digiboard 16 serial ports and Cendyne modems Running in class 2

I have not so much experience with modems but I think there are too
much errors on sending faxes. Around 12 to 16 %

Much too many errors. A well-tuned receiver will have fewer than 1% errors.

Is there any way to reduce this number of errors?

Yes.

How can I find the reason?

Look at the logs, but in your case the first step would be to switch to Class 1, if the modem has it.

Are Modems better working in another class ?

Class 1 will generally work better than Class 2 with most modems.

Which errors are avoidably and which not?

Most of the errors that you list are probably the fault of the modem's faulty Class 2 firmware.
