Hi.
For a similar purpose I use a simple trick: plain old ftp, postscript file(s) in a folder, a little text file ('token') in another dir with dest number, cover data and file list.
On Linux machine there's a daemon who monitors token folder. If it founds a token file it generates and sends the fax.

I need to find a way to send faxes from a DCL script on VMS to my Hylafax server.  My first thought is to connect an FTP client to hfaxd on port 4559 and do it that way, but I can't find any documentation on how the hylafax ftp protocol works.  Another way is to use email to fax, but that poses difficult problems for us.

Any input gratefully appreciated!
