I am running a RocketModem III and I get many T.30 T2 timeouts. I am
patiently waiting for Comtrol's fix. In the interim I am providing an
old fax for the people that seem to always timeout.

The RocketModem III has some serious problems with faxing (even in 
Class 1).  (Mostly dealing with "random" V.17 modulator problems.)  The 
RM IIs work great, but the RMIIIs do not.

You may be able to successfully use a RocketModem III by disabling V.17 
on it (limiting yourself to 9600 baud).  I haven't tried that.

Comtrol is working on the problem, although the progress is slow.
