At least part of the problem here is that the modem isn't cancelling the AT+FRH=3 command when it is told to do it. The "<-- data [1]" is a signal to the modem to cancel the "AT+FRH=3" command that was sent, for which we received no response.


So if there is an "incompatibility" between HylaFAX and the receiver then the modem is complicating the matter significantly. You'll need to turn to the modem manufacturer for a fix on this, or look for a different modem.
