CID may not be enabled.
You might try adding "at#cid=1" to ModemResetCmds or enable cid 
permanently on your modem with the AT&W1 command with minicom
if your modem supports that.  If it's working 
a line containing NAME= and NMBR= should appear in /var/log/messages if
servertracing is enabled.
