I've used MultiTech modems since I can recall. They're great modems, with
excellent support, easy to find. They make a firmware upgradeable
external modem. I believe it ends in ZBA and is a v92. I had OK luck
with that one - full page .tiff files didn't come through correctly, which
unfortunately is exactly what I need them for. I'm now using MultiTech
ZDX's. They're v90, but have done well for me, and work great in class 2
mode.
