[hylafax-users] Can't start Hylafax servers

I've installed Hylafax without any compilation error.
I've also set up modem /dev/ttyS0.
When I try to start hylafax from /etc/..../init.d with there is no
error message but the servers didn't start.
Also, adding faxgetty into inittab results in the following error (after
a while):
faxgetty respawns too rapidly. .......
Where is the problem?

(I'm using linux kernel 2.4.19 - Intel PC)
