Oh sorry. This must be capiinit!

this virtual modem was added by faxaddmodem.capi ( but i am not sure)

I have tried 2 ways to do this. The first was as i installed the
capi4linux as rpm from SuSe. This rpm has inserted the following line in
the inittab:

fr:235:respawn:/usr/local/bin/c2faxrecv -q "/var/spool/fax"

This did not function because of the problem with the virtual modem. I
have uninstalled the rpm. Then i have compiled capi4linux from
http://capi4linux.thepenguin.de/download.shtml and following the
instructions on http://ixi.thepenguin.de/c4h.html i have added this line
to inittab:

fr:235:once:/usr/local/bin/c2faxrecv

I haven't used the card for Dial-Up. (If you mean that)

No. The fax doesn't answer the call to my number.

No. The sended fax was not delivered because of the wedged modem :-(
