[hylafax-users] ELSA ISDN-modem refuses to receive all incoming faxes

Hi,
(I'm not quite sure, if this is the right way to use this, but I'll try ...)

we have installed hylafax as a fax-server using SuSE 8.2 and an
AMD Athlon machine. Elsa ISDN fax is installed, but we also have
a eth1 as ppp0 (ADSL) and an internal ISDN-Card for Dialin-Server
(which may be malconfigured and we are not using currently).

All faxes are generated on win clients as a print job and sending
faxes hasn't appeared to be problematic. All incoming faxes
are forwarded to users' mail accounts and faxes appear properly
an mails with the TIF attachment (I#d rather get a PDF, but the
described changes for FaxDispatch somehow didn't work yet)

The most severe problem we have, is that the faxmodem will run
coorectly after reboot, but appears not to be resetted for new
incoming faxes correctly or can't communicate with a certain type
of corresponding fax. After one specific fax-sender, the modem
will not start receiving the fax (which it usually does after one ring)
and will contiouusly ring but not receive the fax.

Has anyone got a splendid idea on what the issues are, and
how to fix them, etc.
