[hylafax-users] Hylafax FTP problem

Hello list,

I wrote the message with the "Error 425 - No client connection possible"
subject. The problem - I can't get a client conection to my hylafax
server, but can send and receive facsimiles from the console fine and
smoothly - is not yet solved.However now I know that it is not a firewall problem. When I deactivate
the firewall (iptables) on the machine, the same error occurs. This time I
used a ftp client (instead of a telnet client like in the last mail) to
show the problem. Here the output:

The "hang-up" occurs after the "dir" command, so I aborted the connection
with Strg+C. The result is "421 Service not available, remote server has
closed connection". That is precisely the point where the hylafax clients
(tested with Cypheus and WHFC) are breaking ...Any ideas how to get rid off this problem?
Funny thing: On ther same computer is a ftp server (vsftpd) installed. I
can reach the ftp service on the machine without problems from my client
pc, plus I can "wget" ftp donwloads from any source on the machine's
shell.So what? I don't know what to do! The operating system is RedHat 7.3.
