[hylafax-users] AW: font metrics



Hiya!

Well, this is the most common problem I always had the last weeks when
installing the sourcebuilds. After strace-ing the whole thing,
it is the problem, that the font metrics files usually used for it are not
in the standard gs dirs extracted by the setup script.
I always had to add the path manually to the "DIR_AFMS" directive in the
configure script, symlink it to an existing directory or in the defs file.
(last one only after running configure!)

Usually it looks for "n022003l.afm" in this "font"case here.

I do get two warnings concerning 'vgetty' and 'egetty' but I don't think
they have anything to do with it, do they?  Then it just asks me if it
should restart the server processes and quits nicely.
