[hylafax-users] How do I unwedge my modem?



My modem appears to be "wedged". What can cause this?  Minicom has no
problem accessing the modem at /dev/modem.
ls -l /dev/modem returns:
lrwxrwxrwx    1 root     root           10 Jan  1 21:14 /dev/modem -> /dev/ttyS1

relevant info from log:
