[hylafax-users] Modem on /dev/ttyS1 appears wedged

I have been using a dedicated server with Hylafax for several weeks whithout
problems, from this morning I have been receiving a mail like this from
Hylafax every 4-5 minutes:

--------------------------- Mail ---------------------------------------
The HylaFAX software thinks that there is a problem with the modem
on device /dev/ttyS1 that needs attention; repeated attempts to
initialize the modem have failed.

Consult the server trace logs for more information on what is happening.
--------------------------- Mail ---------------------------------------

This HylaFax server is only used to receive faxes (not sending) and it keeps
receiving faxes beside those mails. I have rebooted the server and the
modem, it keeps sending that message.

I searched at hylafax logs but everything seems ok, probably I need to
increase hylafax log verbosity, i changed those values in config.ttyS1:
    ServerTracing: from 0x08501 to 0x08508
    SessionTracing: from 0x08501 to 0x08508

I read those should increase logs but those didn't.

As I said Hylafax keeps receeving faxes, so it seems it is not a critical
problem, but it's better to solve it when it works than when it crashes.

Thanks for your time,
Jordi Herrero.

P.D. English is not my native language.
