[hylafax-users] Pdf issue with Sendfax

I am trying to input a pdf file (generated thru the fdfmerge program) to
sendfax and it gives me an error
"Could not reopen converted document to verify format"
I have no problem sending regular pdf files generated via Acrobat
though.
Has anyone used pdf files generated thru fdfmerge before?
Any help would be appreciated.
