Jay, many thanks for your tip. I did some minor tests at home and it looked
good.
More tests on monday. BTW the typerules file in my installation (Suse 8.1
Hylafax-Binary from Suse)  lives  in /usr/lib/fax.
I guess that it depends on the distributor and the way the files are
organized in every distribution.
Nevertheless I am going to download the 1.1.5 version and compile it anyway
as there are some bugfixes which I need.

As soon as I have the Greek conversion running, I'll post the steps in this
thread. I guess that if there are other languages
with the same problems, one can adopt this changes and configure the
necessary steps for himself.
