Hi, I had the same your problem and after a lot of time and I have resolved
it olnly a few days ago. Follow I transcribe my solution inserted in the
mailing list 14th september 2002:
Good work and if you have problems write me.
Nico
"
After a lot of time I have finally found the true cause of this problem and
I've seen our Hylafax to work perfectly also on RedHat 7.3. The kernel
2.4.18 given with RedHat 7.3 has a problem in serial ports management.
To resolve this I've recompiled the kernel sources 2.4.19 (downloaded from
www.kernel.org).
If you need follow I transcribe the kernel configuration file used by me.
This is
only a trace, you will need to modify surely some parameters.
Thanks for all your support.
Nico
