FYI--

I am using a USR Faxmodem 56k in Class 2.0.  I will retry in Class 1 mode,
but I thought the problem was on the reception side, not the
transmission...

I know it has been explained that USR modems have problems, but this is
the first one for me.  Is this one of those dreaded Phase D problems?
