This sounds like the error I would get if faxrcvd wasn't getting the number
of arguments it expects. When you run faxgetty by hand, do you put in the
exact same line from the log file like so:
#bin/faxrcvd "recvq/fax00004.tif" "ttyS1" "00000047" "" "" ""
