Re: [hylafax-users] Looking for working DID/DNIS solution
I love it when I make myself clear the first time. :)
I will need to support 50-100 users, each with a DID fax number. Our volume is
fairly low, so I'd like to start with just 2-4 inbound modems that could route
to those 50-100 users. Hopefully that's clearer. I think I understand your
comment about the multi-board, but that only gets me routing by dev which I can
already do, and is not adequate. You're right about subaddressing, didn't find
any of the customers I polled that could (would) use it.

I'd like more details on the T-1 PRI solution you know works. Our phone tech
says with the addition of a isdn/pri card to our switch he can take inbound DID
calls through our existing trunks and send them through the new card with DNIS.
I think I can pick things up from there with something like a Courier I-Modem,
but I was hoping to be a bit more sure before spending the money on the hardware
just to see. I've also seen references in user groups about using a Brooktrout
TR114+P2D card to do this, but they didn't have enough detail to assure me that
if I purchased one it would work.
In any case I'm still interested in the details of known working solutions.
Cost may drive me away, but then again it might not.
Thanks again.
