If you get this 100% of the times, then add the following to your
config.<devid>:

Class1SwitchingCmd:     "<delay:7>"

and restart faxgetty.

and if it dolves the problem, report on bugs.hylafax.org so that next
version will handle your modem model automatically.

Also, please try sending a fax and see if it's all ok after the AT+FTS
command.
