[hylafax-users] problem with no OK after at+fclass

Hello,

I'm using Hylafax V4.1 under SuSE Linux V7.3 and I use SuSEfax as a frontend
for Hylafax. I have a problem with a fax storage device (Telejet SaferFax
V2.35D) placed between PC and modem. This device has a modus to send stored
faxes to the PC. If the device is set up to do so, it is initialized by
faxgetty.

As it is shown at the end of the attached logfile, the initialization aborts
always at the same point. Probably this is because the device should send a
second line with 'OK'. At least I have seen other modems that do so. I have
tried to send at+fclass with seyon terminal program and there comes only one
line as answer from the device, too. The manufacturer says that this device
behaves like a generic class 2 modem and should work with all fax programs.

I'm a beginner with hylafax and I think the solution for this problem is
rather to find with expert skills, so I hope to get an answer in this
mailinglist. Thanks in advance.

Kind regards
Norbert Aldinger
