[hylafax-users] Hylafax and Cypheus (more a cypheus Problem ? )
Hello to all of you,
I hope I'm not too wrong with my question but ......
After installing hylafax V4.1 on a box together with Suse 7.3. I'm now able
to do an sendfax -n -d <number> <file> .
The fax would be send, that's ok.
After that I installed cypheus 2.30.2130 on a Windows 98 box. I can see the
Server up and running, the output statistik is shown but I'm not able to
understand how to define the tiff printer and get it running. At the cypheus
setup menue there is no tiff printer to choose.
Windows shows me a Cypheus Tiff printer connected to LPT1: ( and that
couldn't be realy ok) so, where is the right port ?
When I try to print a fax I get it into the /cypheus/out/ directory and
cypheus hang producing error msg all the way like :
----------- snip
Error Number: 3704
Modul: frmSendFax!Load
Date: 21.02.02 22:44:14
----------- snap
The operation is for the closed Objekt (Modul: frmSendFax!Load) not allowed
AND next
An Objekt (Modul: frmSendFax!Load ) couldn't be found
so, where could it be found ? at the Server or Client maschine ?
------------------
Question
1/ how can I get the correct Port for that printer?
2/ how can I select the tiff Printer from the Cypheus setup menue?
can anyone explain what is going wrong ?
I guess I'm to stupid to understand what's going on here and who is talking.
Cypheus to hylafax or is it "only" a Cypheus Problem ? Any help is
welcome!
bye
Peter
