[hylafax-users] general modem config questions

Hello,

  I'm new to hylafax, and fax servers in general.  I am having all sorts
of problems trying to configure my USRobotics modem to work well with
hylafax.  First I was having handshaking problems when it was configured
as a class 2.0 modem, and now I have configured it as a class 1 modem,
and I'm having issues with it not detecting a line hang up, so it just
locks the whole server up.

MODEM NO CARRIER
<--[9:AT+FRH=3\r]
-->[10: NO CARRIER]

over and over and over and over......

Any thoughts on fixes for this error?
     I have read that the modem I have is very substandard...ooopps.  So
I want to get a new one.  It seems the "modems" page on the web site is
out of date.  Does anyone know what current fax modems work well with
hylafax.  Thank you for your help.
