Please run faxgetty on every modem. If you don't want the modem to be
allocated outbound faxes, then you should change the ModemPriority or
ModemReadyState in the appropriate config file.

See all the trouble you'd save yourself?

Again, use faxgetty, this should be done with the config file via
ModemDialCmd.
