[hylafax-users] Modem Reference

After having jumped into this Hylafax project, I am determining that there
is a lot about modems and how they work that is important knowledge for
tweaking Hylafax. I am, admittedly a bit short there. Any suggestions for a
good reference into the operation of a modem kind of from the ground up?
