Yes I did, and I was only asking how am I supposed to see states of modem.

Refference in faxstate manpage would be welcome.

Nope, I've been asking about faxgetty and faxstat.

OK, for this one you are right.

I have been complaining about faxstat, because I think I should be able to
somehow see the state of modem. I have also been complaining about faxstate for
not being able to do this, but I have never, ever said that THIS SOFTWARE IS
BROKEN!!!!! It suits its purpose and works very solid.
