Jay  that's interesting because, while I had my little issue (now resolved) I
tried to get IE-5.x to prompt me via setting the appropriate security settings
for the zone.  at no time did IE-5.x prompt me.  The dern browser keeps logging
in as an 'anonymous user' with what (as LEE said) uses an E-maill addy as the
password.
