       -j secs   Set the job age threshold (in seconds) that con­
                 trols  how  long  jobs  may  reside in the doneq
                 directory before being  processed.   By  default
                 this  value is 15 minutes (15*60 = 900 seconds).

The default age threshold is 15 minutes.  If you want it to flush jobs
after a day, change the faxqclean line to be:

/usr/sbin/faxqclean -a -j 86400

I think that faxqclean is being run every hour intentionally to deal with
potential queue errors.
