Re: [hylafax-users] Login failed: 550 Cannot set privileges



I've had success running hfaxd as a daemon as user root on FreeBSD.
Others have experienced the 550 error when running hfaxd as user fax.

If there's any good reason Not to run hfaxd as root, I'd love to know
about it now instead of after I'm owned...
