Since everyone here has been such a hugh help to me in
getting HylaFAX working, and it is now that I convinced the
PTB to get a good server and not much around with add-on PCI
serial cards.
When installing the latest 4.1beta3 I too had to upgrade the
libtiff and got conflicts with libtiif-devel. The answer I
found was to do the upgrade of libtiff-devel first:
rpm -U libtiff-devel....
then do the normal libtiff:
rpm -U libtiff-3.5.5.....
Then do the HylaFax install. In my case a new install.
rpm -i hylafax.....
and then I did the Hylafax docs.
All installed nicely and is working wonderfully with WHFC.
Ken.
